A writer/director from Melbourne, Australia, Julian has a Bachelor of Communication and an Advanced Diploma of Screenwriting, both attained at RMIT University. He specializes in writing comedy and directing music and fashion videos, hoping to expand his portfolio in the coming years.
Last year Julian co-directed a music video with Jarred Osborn for Engiish band Alt-J. It was for a worldwide competition run by Genero.tv. The video was nominated for video of the year and was awarded the runner-up prize.
More recently Julian wrote and directed a short film called ‘Charades.’ The film was selected as a Top 16 finalist in Tropfest, one of the largest film festivals in the world.
In late 2013 he co-directed a fashion film for Finnigan Swimwear. It was selected as the winner of best film at the Melbourne Fashion Festival Film Series.
